During this workshop, we provide an overview of DACA and the most recent updates. We cover the implications of the 2017 decision by President Trump to rescind the highly successful DACA program. We also provide information about the January 9, 2018 decision by a U.S. District Court to provide provisional relief in the form of a preliminary injunction. Finally, we speak about opportunities to get involved to protect immigrants’ right.
